Note: Some of the libraries featured here are active clients with redesigns underway. We’re highlighting early design work or confirming our current collaboration. Their current live websites were not created by us.

Purposeful design, not personal preference. Every design decision is based on real-world user behavior, accessibility standards, and usability, not on what “looks good.” We prioritize what works best for patrons, even if it differs from personal aesthetic preferences.

No templates, no page builders. We custom-code every site, avoiding reliance on themes like Avada, Genesis, StudioPress or Divi, as well as page builders such as Elementor, Beaver, or WP Blocks. This results in faster performance, cleaner code, and a simplified backend, making it much easier for library staff to update and maintain content without technical expertise.

Tailored for each library—with strategies that work. Every library is unique, and we design with that in mind. But uniqueness doesn’t mean reinventing the wheel at the cost of usability. We apply proven patterns—like text-based sliders for better accessibility or navigation styles that support ease of use—because these approaches work well for library patrons. Some elements may look familiar across sites, not because of templates, but because good design and accessibility share common principles. The result is a site shaped by your library’s goals, built on a foundation that supports real-world success.

Accessibility badges. The WCAG 2.1 AA or 2.2AA badges indicate that the library has invested in building an accessible site and training staff to maintain it. It’s a long-term approach, not a gimmick like using accessibility widgets and pretending to be accessible.

Ongoing accessibility is a shared effort. Even with training and a compliant foundation, new or third-party content may create barriers. That’s why continuous awareness and support are key.

Some projects shown are legacy work. A few of these sites were completed several years ago and may have since been updated or maintained by other vendors. What you see reflects our original development at the time of launch.
